Service Delivery Models
All-In-One Attack prevention is available in three different service models that are described below.
- Servers Hosted in Brinkster’s Data Center:
In this model the customer’s servers are hosted in Brinkster's Data Center. The customer selects the base amount of attack traffic to have mitigated, starting at 2 GB. In this model the customer is always protected and if the attack goes over the base amount an overage charge applies.
- Servers Not Hosted at Brinkster Data Center - Switch Over Service:
In this model the customer’s servers are hosted outside of the Brinkster Data Center. If an attack is detected the traffic is rerouted to Brinkster. The traffic is then “scrubbed” or cleaned and then routed back to the customer.
- Servers Not Hosted at Brinkster Data Center - Always on Service:
In this model the customer’s servers are hosted outside of the Brinkster Data Center. Customer’s traffic is always routed through Brinkster. The traffic is “scrubbed” or cleaned and then routed on to the customer.
