INNODB tables vs MyISAM tables with MySQL Articles

The use of INNODB tables has not been restricted because some users may still opt to use these.

If you choose to use INNODB tables it is very important that you maintain a backup of your database.

It is recommended that you use MyISAM format for your tables as these are independent from one another and therefore more reliable.
