This is the amount of data (or files) that you are allowed to store on Brinkster's servers with this account. Files are generally moved or copied to Brinkster's servers via a tool called FTP. The overage charge for web space is $6.95 per 100 MB.

3500 GB WEB TRAFFIC

Web traffic, also known as bandwidth or monthly transfer is generated when visitors access a web page, image or other components on your site. Your total transfer is the sum of all inbound and outbound traffic and is measured in either Megabytes or Gigabytes per second. As a general rule 500 MB of web traffic is equivalent to your web site being viewed about 20,000 times (or 20,000 pages of your site being viewed, all total). The overage charge for web traffic is $0.49 per GB

FTP ACCESS

Short for File Transfer Protocol, the protocol for exchanging files over the Internet. FTP is most commonly used to download a file from a server using the Internet or to upload a file to a server. FTP enables you to upload your web pages to a Brinkster server via the internet.
